La Maison de la Fontaine is located in the centre of Araux, 5 km west of Navarrenx just off the D936 heading towards Bayonne. GPS 43.353090, -00.807160
Navarrenx is located in Béarn des Gaves which is in the Pyrenées Atlantiques (Department 64) which is in Aquitaine, SW France. That said, please note we really are not located in or near Toulouse, in Biarritz or in the Landes…
By Car….
Travelling to us from the north, south west or west take junction 7 on the A64 and then follow signs for Salies de Béarn, Sauveterre and Navarrenx.
Travelling to us from the south east or east take junction 8 on the A64 and then follow signs for Orthez and Navarrenx.

By Air…..
Airports are close by at Pau (45 minutes), Biarritz (60 minutes), Lourdes (60 minutes) and slightly further afield at Bordeaux (2.5 hours), Toulouse (2.5 hours), Pamplona (Spain, 3 hours) and Bilbao (Spain, 4 hours).
Car hire is available at all airports.

By Train…..
The TGV stops at Dax (45 minutes), Orthez (25 minutes) and Biarritz (60 minutes).
Car hire is easily available near Orthez all stations.
